Measuring a human hair:
We mount the laser so that it points through the card hole.
The distance from the card to the wall is 93.5cm
The distance we generated between the two first order minima is 9.5mm
As we have the wavelength of the laser, the distance from the card to the wall, and the distance of the first order minima; we can generate the diameter of our hair which is causing the diffraction.
using a micrometer we find the diameter of human hair to be 6.27*10^-5
